17th Blogmas 2011...

Hey everyone,

Today was a busy day, although didn't have work which was good. In work again tomorrow though from 12:30 - 4:30 so just a tiny shift compared to Thursdays 8 hours...

Watching Strictly Come Dancing just now. Really hope Harry wins so fingers crossed...

Made some cupcakes today and silly me put the icing on while they were still warm and it kinda melted off in the fridge and mum broke the beaters last time she used them so I had to use a wooden spoon. Wont be able to move my arm tomorrow haha.

13th Blogmas 2011...

So... i'm sorry everyone but life has been pretty hectic recently and I know I haven't blogged since about 5 days ago...

Was busy on Friday but I honestly can't remember what I was even doing which is strange. I'm pretty sure I was doing homework and tidying my room for Katie and Chris coming over.

On Saturday I had work from 9-5 which went pretty slowly and we only got half an hour for lunch so things were pretty rushed. Signed a lot of stuff and watched a lot of DVD's so was a pretty boring day and the whole of Sainsburys is very very cold. We got our polo shirt and jumper at the end of the day and I got told to go in for Till training on Sunday again from 9-5.

Got home at about quarter past 6 and got ready to go out for my birthday night out which was okay but there was only a few of us. (I should have had photos but I forgot to take my camera..) Smart. I know. After buying batteries as well...

So I left Fuzion at half 1 since I knew I was up for work the next day at 8. I woke up at 10 to 8 and had an apple for breakfast before getting a taxi at 25 to 9 and starting the very long day. We were standing nearly all day at the end of a checkout learning what all the buttons meant and how everything worked. By lunch I was starving and my feet were aching. The afternoon went even slower and by the time we finished all of the induction work it must have been about half past 3. I got put on a checkout with Sharon and we took it in turns to serve customers before she got moved to the checkout opposite and I was left by myself... Thankfully everything went okay and I managed not to have any major problems with anyone although after being used to everyone paying with a card the first time someone handed me a £20 I had a bit of a panic about what to do. Managed to get on okay though and found out that you need to make a note of the change due really quickly because it disappears almost straight away.

Also, a man came up with alcohol and I got in a panic again about having to ID him but as he got closer I realised that he must have been about 30...oops that could have been embarrassing. Anyone else buying alcohol were all well over 25 thankfully which was quite handy...

So after that busy day I got home, had dinner and crashed on my couch for about an hour. Did the same yesterday though after college...

Going to answer some formspring questions since I have 700 to answer...

Might do a little Q&A tomorrow for a blog just to give something different.

Not done very much so blogging would be a tad pointless to be honest, today has been busy with shopping, getting blown away, wrapping presents and tidying my room.

Tidying didn't go well really so will have to do that tomorrow since i'm working on Saturday.

Made a start on it in class but never actually finished what I was writing.

I HAVE A JOB!!!

That was my exciting news.

I'm now a Sainsbury's employee and I start work on Saturday unfortunately working from 9 till 5.

Yes I am now singing that song...

Shame the snow is gone...since I wouldn't have to even leave the house until Saturday ut I need some new clothes before work on Saturday and need to make jelly shots on Friday night for my Birthday thing...

In college just now heading back to Business Law yuck :(

Yay no college today ^^. It was snowy outside and I didn't feel like getting trapped in town very much. I know it would have been fine but really there wasn't much point since nobody was really in so I hope I didn't miss too much.

Did some work for business law which I wasn't planning on doing at all....

4th Blogmas 2011...

Hey guys,

So it's been a pretty boring day really but I was in a festive mood and wrapped Christmas presents with bows and ribbons and all that jazz. Apart from that i've done some work and looked for a new Christmassy wallpaper for my computer since i'm in a festive mood.

Feeling pretty tired but not hungover which is always good. Last night was okay but Fuzion was pretty bad so me and Laura headed home at about 1ish. Plus the fact that we got abandoned was annoying...

Ah wells just checking my phone to see if I took pics last night. Okay no I didn't...

Oops...Belated 1st of Blogmas 2011

Haha forgot all about Blogmas until I saw my subscriptions on youtube...well this is going to be a failure

Anyway happy December my faithful followers sorry the 1st blog is late...

Was mega busy yesterday with Christmas shopping which is nearly all done thankfully, as well as getting the papers and doing the dishes in between attempting to do my assessment for MPO.

And today i've been a tad busy today too...

Just back from the paper round which was boring and wet...

Anyway that's number 1 out of the way...off to write blog number 2...

Girls just wanna have fin?

Apparently I can't spell and last time it was fun I wanted not fin...

Clearly i'm tired.

So...A Sunday afternoon is officially worse than a Monday morning...I want to shop and get all festive and Christmassy but it's so cold outside and the shops will be crazy so guess i'm stuck in all day...

Also pretty worried since I have a job interview for Sainsbury's tomorrow afternoon and have no idea what i'm doing. 

Bleugh. My house is so cold i'm wrapped up in my blanket and i'm still freezing.

I'm staying like this all winter...

Hair straightening stuff was not too bad but can't really tell until I wash it...if it was good i'll do a review on my other blog. That reminds me I have to review the colour stripper too...

Got a few blog posts lined up and hopefully will be able to do Blogmas and actually keep up with it although I doubt it...

I'm honestly trying to find things that are new but i'm stuck for things to talk about apart from my need to put up my Christmas decorations to make myself happier and more festive...

Oh and my birthday night out will probably be a flop since so far I only have 8 people attending...

Breaking Dawn Part 1...

I know it's only out tomorrow but i've convinced my mum to come and see it with me tomorrow at 12pm...I'm really excited and am speculating as to where the film will end because i've heard a lot of different things...


For one I know that Bella has the baby but i'm betting on the end being when she wakes up...


We shall see...


Oh and being the sad fan that I am I tried to read the book this morning but only managed the first part. Going to read some more later on and see how far I get.

Long time no see blog...

Hey guys,


So I know it's been a while but college has been mega crazy with assessment after assessment after assessment...well you get the picture. So to make up for the long absence I have a few blogs to blog, the first one on this blog which is now my personal blog and one on my sparkleigh blog which is my makeup related one. 


I was just watching Fleur de Force on youtube and heard that she and MissGlamorazzi are doing vlogmas which is basically a vlog everyday in December so i've decided to go along the same lines with a Blogmas. 


So what's new with me? I've started watching Supernatural. Breaking Dawn Part 1 is out tomorrow. It's less than 5 weeks until I turn 19. Which means that it's less than 6 weeks until Christmas. Also the first 12 week block at college has finished so that means 3 new subjects and a whole new timetable. Still in on a Monday and Wednesday but in on Tuesday instead of Thursday. Not sure how the new subjects are going to be though...

Turning over a new leaf...

Ok so the past few days i've been feeling awful. I had a night out for halloween and been suffering from the hangover from hell for the past 2 days. So to the plan...I am going to surprise a lot of people with this but I don't want to drink until my birthday at least which is a month and 16 days away. I am sick of the feeling of being out of control and that's how I felt on Monday night. It wasn't worth spending all that money to end up ill at the end of it and I am tired of essentially poisoning my body to the point of throwing up.

Also the problem of having no money is also a huge problem and I am struggling enough at the minute without spending £50 on a night out.

I also would really like to start going back to the gym or at least doing some more exercise than I am right now. Not a lot of people realise how insecure I am about my body and I think I need to change. Plus i've seen how fattening alcohol is and it's not going to help with shifting the pounds.

I thought about doing a blog all about losing weight but i'm not sure that i'm comfortable posting my current weight on here. Maybe once I lose a little I will try and give it a go. I have been trying not to eat stuff like chocolate through the day but I have slipped up a few times and afterwards I feel awful. I really need something to motivate me to do it and once I get back into the way of exercise I hope I will find it easier.

Anyway i'm going to go and watch ANTM...yes I know what you are all thinking...

Party

So...I know it's been a while but i've been mega busy...actually that's a lie. I've not being doing a lot so there is no excuse for not blogging.

Anyway if you have forgiven me I have quite a busy weekend ahead although not going out anywhere dressed  up. Tonight I have Lisa's birthday which shall be fun although I don't know many people apart from Amy who may be reading this...if you are then hello Amy :)

Then another even this weekend is a movie night...a horror movie night...yes, as anyone who knows me is probably saying to themselves right now, I am terrified of anything scary which will make tomorrow a very interesting experience...I'm so nervous and have thought about not going but since I haven't seen anyone for a while I decided just to give it a go...Sunday's blog will have further details...

Something else while on the subject of horrors I saw an advert for a film called The Caller starring Rachael Lefevre, from Twilight, and Stephen Moyer, from True Blood (who I must say is a very handsome older man). It wasn't particularly scary at all although a few bits made me jump and it is possibly the most mild horror film ever so I have no idea how I am going to cope tomorrow night...

Will probably post an extremely nervous blog tomorrow night and possibly hungover from tonight if I have my way...

17th Bloctober 2011...

Firstly I am sorry it's been so long...


I've been so busy and so Bloctober may be cancelled and i'll give Blovember a go instead...


Been in Inverness for 2 days now and it's been good so far...


Seen a baby cow that was 2 months premature and is now only 4 weeks old and he is beautiful, me and Katie are going to name him and some of the other cows tomorrow and we need some berries for Mark's flan so we are going to pick them from the field down the hill.

Busy day today...Was at college all day and didn't get in until about half 6ish because I ended up in the pub (surprise surprise)...Did loads of work and now i'm so tired but I know I have an assessment to do for Marketing however I think i'm just going to do it tomorrow since I have no energy left...

Sooooooooo, last night was...eventful... 


I'm absolutely shattered this morning but I can't sleep so thought I would come and blog instead. So a lot happened last night including me having wayyyyyyyyyyy too much to drink....anyone who was there knows where that went. Thankfully the hangover hasn't kicked in but no doubt i'll be feeling a tad rough later.


Going to draw some more today, I think, although I have homework for Marketing which I should probably do...

Another blog of the day making it 5 in a row.


Marketing was not particularly interesting today got my assessment question back so need to finish that at some point unfortunately but should be okay. MPO actually got interesting today and we are doing group work on someone called Vroom. Yes Vroom that is his name and yes it made me laugh. Even more funny is what he based his research on which is "maximising pleasure and minimising pain" that was what made me laugh the most. Thought it was just my filthy mind in the gutter but apparantly not as everyone agreed that it sounded dodgy and since then i've read a few more things which sound dodgy about Vroom.

1st of Bloctober 2011

Bloctober day 1 is officially underway so today I wanted to blog about something very dear to me but something which I haven't done in a while.


Long story short I used to draw all the time almost every day to be exact but since about a year ago I just gave it up but last weekend I started up again and in a week i've done 7 new drawings. 


Anyway here is a wee look at my work which i've done recently.

Butterfly - 23/9/2011 (This took me a couple of hours and I started it on the Friday and then finished it on the Saturday. None of my pictures take long because I get bored and want it done.) 

Angel - 25/9/2011 (This is by far my favourite piece out of all of the ones i've ever done. She doesn't look a lot like the one I copied it from but I still think she turned out well)

Cupcake - 29/9/2011 (This took about half an hour to do and turned out not too bad.)

Flower - 29/9/2011 (Again this one took about 30 minutes if even that and I love it...still not as much as my angel though...)

Fairy - Unknown (Can't remember which day I did this one but it was either yesterday or the day before. She didn't take long either but I really like the way she turned out...)

Rose - 30/9/2011 (This is my least favourite drawing and didn't make it onto my collage on my wall)

Ballet Shoes - 30/9/2011 - Tried to draw these a year or 2 ago and gave up but tried again and I think they turned out okay,)

Wake me up when September ends ;) WAKE UPPPPPP!!!!

So today is the last day of September already and I really can't believe how fast this past year has gone...however it feels like ages ago that I started college...


So just wanted to do a wee blog about some plans. Firstly I hope to try (don't hold me to this) and blog everyday in October. I was inspired by miss glamorazzi on youtube who did Vlogust but mine will be Bloctober which sounds kinda cute...


I have a bit of a dilemma which I want to blog about because I simply need to discuss it somewhere and since nobody reads this i'd rather put it on here than on facebook...


Have you ever liked someone you shouldn't? It's so infuriating. He annoys me so much and sometimes I just want to kill him but as soon as I see his face it's like the anger and frustration all fades away to nothing. On top of that he is way out of my league and it wont go anywhere but I still continue to dream about him at least once a night...Oh dear I have no idea what to do... there's nothing I can do...just have to see how it goes. 


Selena Gomez must have read my mind making this song because it pretty much describes my situation right now...

22/9/2011...

Not a lot going on in my life at the minute so I have barely anything to blog about...


So far this week i've passed my RFI assessment and got drunk yet again. 


Planning to go out on Sunday with "the gang" because it's the September weekend. Need to head into college in an hour for IT Arts which we spent last week making power point presentations on The Simpsons, how riveting. Hopefully today will be a tad better but then again probably not...

17-09-2011...

Got another wee blog for you all today...today I got up early and thought I was going to have a lazy day but unfortunately not...


I realised that my bus pass needed renewed and I was going to do it tomorrow but then remembered that it's not open on a Sunday so I had to go today. 


Got my bus pass and some vodka and then studied and watched True Blood for the rest of the afternoon.

Everyday i'm blog bloggin'

Hello my loyal followers, 


Haha just kiddin' I know it's just me who reads this darn blawg. (Been watching too much True Blood and the accent is rubbing off on me) 


So yesterday was at college in the afternoon which resulted in a wee pub session after that awful class. Stayed in the pub until about half 5 I think...had 4 vodkas and was a tad tipsy.


Today however was extremely boring with me trying to work. The highlight of the day was watching The Vampire Diaries and True Blood...


Leads me to my new obsession True Blood...


Got a Pizza Hut for dinner


Now i'm shattered even the Boost couldn't wake me up.

I have such a boring life...

Hello again, 


My life is so boring I honestly have nothing to blog about...what is wrong with me. 


Yesterday I got up at 7am (every time I hear 7am I always seem to get Friday by Rebecca Black in my head) and got dressed for college which doesn't take long because I just throw on any old thing. I had choco flakes for breakfast (You get them at LIDL and they are damn good) and a cup of tea to wake me up a bit, walked to the bus station and got the bus. 


Bus broke down. 


Got a new one, and by some miracle still managed to get to college on time for my first assessment of the day. Worked through it and with the help of Carla got the right answer to the calculations. We then sat in the Hub (No, I didn't come up with the name and I would like to know who did as it's fairly unusual.) and studied like good students. Then we went to my favourite place the pub across the road and had lunch which meant a wee vodka for me...


The afternoon class was just another assessment which fingers crossed went not too bad although i'm not sure...anyway no such luck getting away early from that class and so we were in until 4 on the dot working away.


Watched POTC4 last night which was good especially Mr Depp ;).


This morning I got up at 10ish because it's my day off, copied up notes and ate a ton of food.

11-09-2011...

I have not written a blog in so long it's depressing. 


So what was the last thing I wrote about?


Exam results? It's really been that long? 


Ok so a lot has happened since then...started back at college, made new friends, discovered a love for the pub, watched some new programmes and studied my little heart out.


Start with college. So started accounting which consists of 5 subjects at the minute which are; Cost Accounting, Recording Financial Information, Marketing, Managing People in Organisations and IT Arts. Must say that if it weren't for the amazing people i've met in this course I don't know if I would have coped. Lets just say that our pub lunches are the best way to get through the day especially with Managing people in organisations on a Wednesday afternoon...


So that's the new friends bit out the way too our "Gang" are a group of the most fun accountants you will ever meet in your life and we love nothing more than the pub...well I speak for myself when I say that since it's usually my idea...no wonder they think i'm an alcoholic. We need some more girls though since our group now has a 4:2 ratio...and when Carla is off i'm stuck with the boys although i'm not complaining...


Programme wise i've started quite a few since Lost. Watched Pretty Little Liars until it finished last week, Watched Season 1 of Teen Wolf until that finished and then started on The Lying Game and Big Brother US. Now that UK Big Brother is back and isn't a stupid celebrity one i've been watching that and of course X-Factor is back too...


Also it may come as a surprise to absolutely everyone that knows me but I have turned into a geek and have been copying up notes every night and studying furiously for the 2 assessments I have tomorrow...can't wait to get them out of the way.


Anyway that's the update for the day will try and blog a little more because a month is a while...

Exam Results...

Well that was unexpected!


Exam results are not supposed to get here until tomorrow morning but look at that they arrived by text early! Clearly the SQA messed that one up...Oh well 


Second shocker of the day! I got a D for Advanced Higher French which, in itself is nothing short of a miracle, i've honestly never been so proud of achieving a D in my life but this year was so difficult and i'm so glad it paid off even if it's not technically a pass...So I googled it to find out what the band things were and for a D it's between 45% and 49% so that is pretty decent considering that i'm useless at French...


Also got a C for Psychology which I blame entirely on the lecturer...


B for Geography was good though...thought i'd mucked up the second paper majorly so perhaps not...

Haha had a funny night out on Saturday it was so good I hope to repeat it sometime soon although I better not drink that much next time I was completely and utterly "mad wae it" to use a term I don't use all that often. Not sure i've ever been that brave when out but ahh well it was an eventful night to say the least and yet I was still hangover free which in itself is nothing short of a miracle. Plus my inability to play rock paper scissors was definitely my downfall of the night as well as thinking that I could drink with the boys...definitely not...


Ahh well just wanted to document my eventful night without going into too much detail haha oh dear...

Major disappointment...

So decided to skip the rest of Lost but watch the finale again and see if I understood it but unfortunately the last episode wasn't working at all so i'm pretty annoyed that I wasted all that time and can't even get my questions answered.

On the other hand i've still been watching PLL although had to miss a few episodes because of the stupid webpage which is doing my head in.

Completely forgotten what I was going to say now.

Ok so I managed to get to the end of season 4 of lost and am giving it a break for the night. However, I have found a new programme which I heard about on youtube well technically it was about the books but anyway they sounded so good that I knew I had to watch the TV series.

So first episode of Pretty Little Liars is done and i'm hooked already. It has a mysterious aspect which really appeals to me and the story seems to be very intriguing and I can't wait to continue watching this series.

And it does the thing that TVD does at the beginning the "Previously on the vampire diaries" thing just gave me a giggle because it's so cheesy and I wonder if they also change the actress who introduces it each time.

Anyway it's loaded the second episode so i'm away to watch it and will let you all know my feedback

Lost yet again...

Sorry everyone this is the 3rd post about Lost in a week it's insane. Waiting for the site to load again although it goes a little faster because i'm home. So yesterday I think I was just not in the mood because I woke up this morning ready to continue watching Lost. I recon I just had a few boring episodes yesterday but i'm back on track and ready to watch the next one.

Ok so far my favourite Season stands at Season 1 and thats me just about finished Season 2 so not much to go on considering I can't remember the rest at all really. Anyway my Mum used to watch it until about Season 3 because it moved from channel 4 to sky 1 and back then we didn't have sky so she drifted away from it and she also doesn't like unrealistic things like the smoke monster. Personally I think a dinosaur would have fitted in quite well on this strange and intriguing island but then it would just turn into another Jurassic Park...

I'm also thinking of a wee post about favourite characters and stuff too...

More Lost...

So i'm still watching Lost although barely which is unfortunate. I was really enjoying it for ages up until about Season 2 but now i'm at the end of Season 2 and i'm getting bored with the storylines not really progressing and i'm not as hooked as I was right at the beginning. I saw the last couple of Seasons and the ending confused me so much it's unbelieveable but I really want to watch the whole thing again it's just a little slow going at the minute. I loved the original people on the plane's middle section like Hurley, Jack, Sawyer, Saiid, Kate, Michael, Walt, Claire, Charlie, Boone and Shannon to name a few, oh and not forgetting Vincent the dog. But now that new people came in like Echo or whatever his name is the story seems to be centred around him and I don't feel the same bond with the new characters.

Only going to manage to get to Season 2 Episode 24 and i'll watch that tomorrow and see how Season 3 goes. I read or heard somewhere that Season 2 was the scariest Season but I honestly don't think it was particularly interesting. Season 1 was all about meeting the characters and getting to know their stories and watching relationships being formed and that, I really enjoyed. Oh and Desmond is doing my head in. If he says the word Brother again I think I will go nuts...

Lost lost lost lost lost...

Ok so I haven't actually lost anything ... the title above alludes to the TV series Lost as opposed to any of my belongings being lost...

Anyway over the last week or so i've been watching Lost as I don't remember watching the first three series and only really got into it by the 4th or 5th. It is taking forever to get through them what with Megavideo stating that I have "Already watched 72 minutes today and should wait a further 60 before watching anymore", I'm not entirely sure if this is their policy or if they just do it to get my away from my obsession... lets go with the later of the two.

So i've finally made it to Season 2 and i'm killing time while it loads on this ridiculously slow internet connection so that I can carry on watching. BTW I'm in the countryside hence bad connection! Been up here since Friday and am leaving on Sunday back to civilisation and a healthy internet connection.

The main reason for watching the series from the start is a certain Mr Ian Somerhalder (who I do not recall ever being in Lost from when I saw it I must add). I was intrigued to find out the story of his character as well as the others *cough* Sawyer *cough* right from the start and I must say I though Sawyer was my favourite before when he was a semi decent guy...well i'm a sucker for bad boys and everyone knows that hence the love for Ian, i'm also an avid lover of vampires...

Ok so the video is almost loaded now and I cannot wait to carry on into the programme even though I know they all die eventually it's nice to go over it again. Plus I want to see if I understand the ending any better after having watched it a second time...

I like my beats fast and my bass down low...

Well thought I would do a wee blog on my first ever night in town and the day which led up to it.

Woke up to "Skinny Love" by Birdy at 11am and had some crackers, before heading to the centre to pick up some last minute things for my night out and a Baguette Express for lunch (made by Lisa :) it was beautiful thanks Lisa). After lunch went for a bath for the first time in a year, disgusting I know, haha I am kidding usually i'm a shower person. After a nice relaxing bath I painted my nails before smudging them all when curling my hair which took ages, did my makeup and then went and had some dinner but was too excited to eat much. Sat for a bit and then got a taxi to the train station to meet Amy and Laura but I was 25 minutes too early. Met the girls and got on the train and had a few shots of my stuff that has no name, after spilling some on the table we moved to the one opposite.

 Walked up to Buchanan Subway station for my first experience on the subway which was definitely an experience, soon we arrived at Hillhead subway station which is right next to Ashton Lane. At first I was a little sceptical as it looked like one of the alleyways which I usually avoid like the plague. Turns out it's very nice and we started off in The Grosvenor and got a vodka and orange before heading down the stairs to The Lane to sample the £2.50 cocktails. I had a French Martini which was really nice and then had two Forbidden Fruits which are my ultimate drink before heading into Vodka Wodka which is absolutely tiny. After that we headed back to the subway station where we met Devon and Laura and were soon joined by Jamie and Mark.

Garage is the best club ever! However I don't really feel like I can comment as I have only ever been to Fuzion which isn't hard to beat. Anyway we ran in got seats and headed to the bar where I experienced my first Jagerbomb which tastes absurdly like cough medicine and had a nice wee vodka and Relentless to wash it down with. Don't really remember much else apart from that it was an awesome night with loads of drinking and dancing and the best night out ever.
